Kendra (Kendy) is one of the leading Zoukera’s and promoters of Brazilian Zouk in the United States. Her dance career started at age 12 when she joined a dance company in Sevierville TN, which traveled the US to compete in Ballet and Jazz. In her second year of college at the University of Tennessee (Graduated 2010; BA Psychology) she began to study ballroom dancing. She first discovered Brazilian Zouk on youtube and was captivated by the connection and fluidity of the dance. She fell in love with Zouk in 2009 – and made it her goal to learn and spread this unique style of dance across the United States and beyond.

Kendra has had the honor to study with Kim Rottier, Dadinho, Aline Cleto, K-yo, China and Luciana, Willem Engle, Lais Lopes Mafie Zouker, and many other incredible dancers. She has partnered with DJ Nyx of ZNL, and returned from a European Tour in 2012, and Brazilian Tour in 2014.
